Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
This course aims at introducing the students to the history of French Literature in XVIIIth and XIXth centuries (1700-1850) and presenting an historical and theorical introduction of the development of the dramatic and narrative genres (including the conte philosophique) during this same period.
The detailed program and all the necessary bibliographical materials (critical essays, anthological textes etc.) will be presented during the course.
