Duration

The course has a total duration of years: 1 and will be held in the period from February 1, 2022 to November 30, 2022.

Lecture timetable

Fridays and Saturday

When and where

The Programme lectures normally begin in February and continue until July, resuming after the summer break between September and November. Workshops, seminars and most of the internships normally take place in autumn. The Programme officially ends with the awarding of diplomas in March.
Lectures usually take place on Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break, and on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some activities, such as trade exhibition visits, seminars and conferences, may take place on other days of the week and will be communicated in advance.

Location: University of Verona.

Teaching mode

‘Blended’ teaching mode (in-person lectures and Distance Learning via Zoom). At least 1/3 of lectures will be administered online via Distance Learning. However, should the Covid-19 emergency reoccur, the amount of online lectures may increase. In the event of prolonged University closures, lectures will be entirely taught via Distance Learning.

Internship

For unemployed students, the internship is a compulsory part of this Programme.

The curricular internship, lasting at least 150 hours, can be carried out during the Programme.

Students will be able to do more than one curricular internship. Moreover, they will bw able to apply for an extra-curricular internship within on year of the Programme completion.

The internship can take place in one of the Programme's partener companies, or in companies that best meet the student's needs in terms of sector and/or location.

According to the availability of the host companies, the internship will be carried out in a company in line with the professional expectations and skills of each student. Students will also be able to submit an internship proposal for an internship in Italy or abroad.

The Programme staff will be available to support students in their search for an internship.

Project work, interim assessments and final examination

At the end of the Programme, students will be expected to present their project in a special workshop. On this occasion, students in groups will be asked to take part in a job simulation exercise, at the end of which a score will be awarded, based on the quality of the project produced by each student and their presentation skills.
