Learning outcomes

The aim of this Course is to acquire methodological skills for the production of systematic reviews and meta-analyses of health care interventions. Additional aims include knowledge in the production of evidence-based recommendations following the GRADE approach, and the acquisition of skills for the production of scientific reports to be published in high-impact scientific journals.

- Writing a protocol for a systematic review using the Cochrane methodology
- search strategies to locate identify studies
- strategies to select the studies according to the review protocol
- strategies to summarise study findings (data analysis)

Modalità di erogazione della didattica

In presenza e a distanza. E' previsto un periodo di apprendimento con modalità e-learning (on-line) per un totale di 200 ore ad accesso libero da maggio a luglio, in cui a ciascun partecipante verranno inviati materiali di approfondimento e lavori pratici da svolgere.

Per le verifiche periodiche: Esercitazioni pratiche e relazioni su specifici concetti approfonditi durante il corso.

Per la prova finale: Elaborato scritto relativo alla produzione di revisioni sistematiche e meta-analisi secondo la metodologia Cochrane.
