Legend | Type of training activity (TTA)
TAF (Type of Educational Activity) All courses and activities are classified into different types of educational activities, indicated by a letter.
Type D and Type F activities
3. Competenze trasversali
Solo in seguito all'ottenimento dell'Open Badge verranno automaticamente convalidati i CFU a libretto.

Prerequisites and basic notions
The internship aims to provide students with complementary skills to critically approach and solve problems and requests given by a stakeholder, such as a company or a research laboratory, which aim to host the students themselves. Particular attention will be paid to the acquisition of:
(i) individual responsibility with respect to goals given and interaction with work environments;
ii) ability to work/collaborate in a team;
iii) communication skills to present the results, analyze critical issues and propose mitigation strategies for possible problems.
Program
The internship consists of two parts: direct and indirect internship. The indirect internship consists of 5 hours that students will spend for initial basic training under the guidance of the Internship Commission (normally about 2 hours), and to reporting to the same commission the activities carried out and the results obtained at the end of the internship direct. The time spent in companies or research laboratories of the universities is defined as direct internship; it constitutes the main part of the internship (170 hours).
Bibliography
Didactic methods
The indirect internship will be delivered in person and asynchronously via Moodle.
The lectures will aim to provide the students with knowledge in:
● rules and regulations on medical devices;
● safety aspects in design;
● privacy and data protection principles;
● intellectual property management principles;
● project management principles;
● tools and methods for bibliographic research;
● effective communication of results through reports and presentations.
In person lectures will be typically provided in December, May and September.
Learning assessment procedures
Continuous evaluation of the skills acquired during the internship, according to the evaluation criteria.
Evaluation criteria
The Company Tutor is required to complete an evaluation questionnaire on a format defined by the Internship Office. The Academic Tutor, having read that, draws up a short evaluation report, accounting for:
- the commitment and participation in the activities at the company/laboratory premises;
- autonomy, collaboration and ability of the student to achieve the given objectives;
- the materials prepared for the moments of intermediate evaluation of the progress of the project;
- the methods of presenting the project results in plenary (e.g. final internship paper);
- active participation in the moments of presentation of the results of the other working groups.
The Internship will be approved by the Academic Tutor, after having heard the final opinion of the Internship Commission (tirocini-ismp@ateneo.univr.it).

Module/Programme news
News for students
There you will find information, resources and services useful during your time at the University (Student’s exam record, your study plan on ESSE3, Distance Learning courses, university email account, office forms, administrative procedures, etc.). You can log into MyUnivr with your GIA login details: only in this way will you be able to receive notification of all the notices from your teachers and your secretariat via email and soon also via the Univr app.
Attendance
The inter-university nature of the course of study lies in the cooperation of the three universities in the provision of faculty. Therefore, teaching delivery takes place at the administrative and teaching site in Verona and not in the partner universities. This means that it is not possible to attend this bachelor's degree program in the University of Trento or Modena-Reggio Emilia; however, it is possible to use the study spaces of the partner universities, thanks to the agreement between them.
As stated in the Didactic Regulations for A.Y. 2022/2023, course attendance is not mandatory.
