Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Il corso di diritto dell’Unione europea prende in esame i profili istituzionali e taluni aspetti di diritto materiale dell'ordinamento giuridico dell'Unione e delle Comunità europee secondo il programma indicato di seguito tenendo conto delle varie innovazioni introdotte dai trattati modificativi del trattato di Roma ed in particolare dal Trattato di Nizza in vigore dal 1° febbraio 2003 e prodromico all’allargamento dell’Unione avvenuto il 1° maggio 2004. Durante il corso verranno forniti cenni relativi al progetto di Costituzione elaborato dalla Convenzione europea e attualmente in corso di ratifica da parte degli Stati membri.
Il corso ha lo scopo di introdurre lo studio del sistema giuridico comunitario avvalendosi principalmente dei metodi di interpretazione valorizzati dalla Corte di giustizia delle Comunità europee.

Le istituzioni e le sue fonti. La struttura dell'Unione europea e delle Comunità europee: le istituzioni e gli organi; i rapporti tra diritto comunitario e le norme sulla politica estera e di sicurezza comune e sulla cooperazione di polizia e giudiziaria in materia penale; le competenze della Comunità europea; il sistema delle fonti del diritto comunitario; i rapporti tra ordinamento comunitario e ordinamento italiano, anche in relazione al decentramento regionale; le relazioni esterne della Comunità europea e dell'Unione europea.
PARTE II
Il mercato interno. Il diritto materiale della Comunità europea. La realizzazione del mercato interno sulla base dei più importanti atti normativi e delle sentenze più significative della Corte di giustizia delle Comunità europee. In particolare la libera circolazione delle merci tra Stati membri con riferimento all'unione doganale, al divieto di restrizioni quantitative e di misure di effetto equivalente, il diritto di stabilimento e la libera prestazione dei servizi

Internships
Internships are aimed at enabling students to gain direct knowledge of the world of work and to acquire specific professional skills.
Internships are carried out under the responsibility of an individual lecturer, and can be carried out in professional firms, public administration bodies and companies recognised by the University of Verona.
Any CFU credits gained by doing internships will be recognised and recorded by the University in accordance with the relevant University regulations in force (Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari).
