Learning outcomes
Provide students with the fundamental knowledge on issues related to mental disorder in the elderly, family and social consequences; identify the elements needed to design, implement and evaluate rehabilitation interventions and specific occupational activities, both individual and group.
Program
The locations and tools for the assessment and evaluation of the potential, needs and disability of the person with psicogeriatrici disorders. The report and rehabilitation with the old person, individual activities and techniques, setting goals, groups. The approach to the topic of death and sexuality in the elderly. The prevention and management of chronic illness and mental disorder-related crises in the elderly.

Examination Methods
Integrated MED exam/09 and MED/48, proposed as a first step in writing and then orally. The written part is made up of both DSM (multiple choice questions) that from DRAB (open-ended questions and short). The next part is composed of questions about clinical care, rehabilitative situations and cases on theoretical concepts proposed during the course.
