Bibliography
Didactic methods
The teaching methods consist of lectures that describe the structural elements of Italian and trace its historical path. Specific insights are dedicated to conceptual issues, critical moments, intellectual debate on language. Particular attention is paid to arousing in students the awareness of their own skills as native speakers, favoring their active interventions and proposing surveys on single problems.
With regard to non-attending students, the teaching methods consist of a teacher's support for an updated study. Any further updates will be made available to the student in good time through the e-learning platform.
At the end of the course, the teacher will publish the analytical list of all the topics that will be examined on the e-learning platform.
Learning assessment procedures
For all students the assessment of learning results requires a written test. The test covers all the topics of the program and is divided into two parts:
• a part with 28 multiple choice questions, divided into groups relating to the different thematic areas of the course.
• a part with 2 open-ended questions, which allow the student to deal with a problematic topic in an argumentative form.
Evaluation criteria
Objectives of the assessment test:
• to verify the analytical knowledge of the program topics.
• to verify the ability to reflect and elaborate in relation to some problematic points.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
For the part with multiple choice questions, 5 points are awarded for each correct answer, 0 points for each answer not given, minus 1 points for each incorrect answer. The sum of the scores thus obtained is then reduced to thirty.
For the part with open-ended questions, up to a maximum of 3 points are awarded for each answer.
The sum of the scores of the two evaluations will form the final mark, expressed out of thirty.
