Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students an overview, also through the solution of problems and concrete cases, of two important topics of the “general part” of the criminal law and some specific sectors of the “special part” of the Italian penal code. The purpose is to deepen and update the knowledge of the Italian criminal law system also by means of the solution of specific problems and the critical analysis of some leading cases. The course is divided in two parts: a general part and a special part.
Program
The general part will concern:
1)the relationships between the Italian Criminal law and the European Law, especially after the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon on 1st November 2009;
2)the new corporate liability system introduced into the Italian legal system with the legislative decree n. 231/2001.
The special part will concern:
1)offences against Public Administration and the recent reform about the corruption introduced by L. 190/2012 and by Law 69/2015;
2)offences against the person
3)offences against the property
Examination Methods
Students who attend the course can develop also short papers, in agreement with professors, replacing parts of the program.
The oral exam has the following goals:

Evaluation runs on a scale from 0 to 30 (successful completion of the examination starts from 18)

Internships are aimed at enabling students to gain direct knowledge of the world of work and to acquire specific professional skills.
Internships are carried out under the responsibility of an individual lecturer, and can be carried out in professional firms, public administration bodies and companies recognised by the University of Verona.
Any CFU credits gained by doing internships will be recognised and recorded by the University in accordance with the relevant University regulations in force (Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari).
