The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Learning outcomes
The main aim of the course is providing students with theoretical foundations of Information Systems design and management. In particular, techniques for decision support system design and multidimensional data analysis tools will be described, as well as business process modeling and reengineering techniques. Moreover, data quality aspects will be considered for supporting decision-making processes. At the end of the course the student will be able to master knowledge and skills about organizational and management aspects, needed to manage information systems in the business context, and to understand system requirements and communicate appropriately with stakeholders for development and management of an Information System. In particular, the student will be able to design and manage a decision support system; analyse multidimensional data; and model and analyse business processes. She will also be able to autonomously continue studies in the Information Systems field.
