Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Il corso illustra la nascita e lo sviluppo della Scuola culta in Francia e la sua diffusione europea, entro il contesto culturale e politico-religioso dell’epoca. Un particolare rilievo avranno l’analisi del pensiero di alcuni illustri maestri francesi (fra cui Bodin, Connan, Cujas, Doneau, Coras, Grégoire), e il sorgere della questione metodologica in campo giuridico.
Il corso seguirà poi l’evoluzione della organizzazione della famiglia, indagando la permanenza di concezioni filosofiche classiche (specialmente aristoteliche) e cristiane (desunte dal pensiero patristico) nella concezione rinascimentale e protomoderna della famiglia e la loro influenza sui concreti assetti degli istituti giuridici in materia. Sarà inoltre messa in risalto la concorrenza dei diversi ordinamenti giuridici nella disciplina della famiglia diritto comune, diritti territoriali particolari, diritto canonico.

PARTE I FORMAZIONE E SVILUPPO DELLA SCIENTIA IURIS NEL SECOLO XVI.
La prima parte del corso si articolerà in tre sezioni dedicate la prima alla nascita dello Stato moderno; la seconda alla formazione della Scuola culta, all’educazione umanistica e al superamento del tradizionale insegnamento scolastico; la terza più propriamente al pensiero giuridico, con particolare insistenza sull’origine della “sistematica” giuridica in Francia e sulla sua diffusione europea.
PARTE II: - ASSETTI DEL “DIRITTO COMUNE” NELL’EUROPA DELLA PRIMA ETA’ MODERNA: LA FAMIGLIA.
Attraverso la lettura diretta di esempi rappresentativi di diverse tipologie di fonti giuridiche di varia natura, suia documentarie che dottrinali (contratti dotali, testamenti, consilia, atti processuali e così via), ed anche di fonti extragiuridiche 8LETTERARIE, CRONACHISTICHE, ETC.), si cercherà di ricostruire la configurazione di alcuni istituti del diritto di famiglia nel XVI secolo: il matrimonio, con le relative vicende del vincolo coniugale (dai modi e requisiti per la sua valida conclusione fino alle cause dell’eventuale scioglimento); la costituzione della dote e dei rapporti patrimoniali tra coniugi; la posizione giuridica della donna all’interno della famiglia; la posizione dei figli e l’istituto della patria potestas; gli istituti successori ed in specie il testamento, con le relative clausolein esso contenute (dall’istituzione d’erede al fedecommesso, al legato d’usufrutto a favore della moglie).

Internships are aimed at enabling students to gain direct knowledge of the world of work and to acquire specific professional skills.
Internships are carried out under the responsibility of an individual lecturer, and can be carried out in professional firms, public administration bodies and companies recognised by the University of Verona.
Any CFU credits gained by doing internships will be recognised and recorded by the University in accordance with the relevant University regulations in force (Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari).
