Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning objectives
The course will provide students with an overview of principles and rules that govern private relationships – with special attention on patrimonial aspects – in view of the development of skills necessary to address questions in the field of private Law. The course aims at dealing not only with the “classic” notions of private law, but also with business contracts and basic notions of business law. During the course professor and students will also analyse some specific cases together focusing on legal terminology regarding private law.
Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to make use of the basic notions and rules that govern relationships between private individuals and entities, with particular attention to business relationships.

Didactic methods
The teaching methods will consist of lectures on the aforementioned topics, with constant involvement of the students, and with particular attention to the not only legal significance of the institutions examined from time to time, with a view to favoring the development of transversal skills as much as possible. In the same vein, some advanced training initiatives will also be offered to the students, in which numerous different professions, academic and non-academic, will be involved.
Learning assessment procedures
The exam consists of a written test and a subsequent oral test. For ERASMUS students, the assessment methods must be agreed with the teacher at the beginning of the lessons.
Evaluation criteria
The exam is passed only in case of positive outcome of both tests, carried out without interruption on the same day. Candidates must therefore organize themselves to remain in the classroom for the whole day of examination (from early morning to late afternoon). In case of non-presentation to the oral exam, the student is considered withdrawn and any written test already passed has no value, not even for subsequent exams. The written test, lasting 30 minutes, is divided into 30 multiple choice questions concerning the topics of the program. The questions are formulated both in the form of "classic" questions, concerning rules and institutions of private law, and in the form of practical cases. The score is awarded by assigning 1 point for each correct answer and 0 points for each wrong or not given answer. The written test is passed with at least 18 correct answers. The written test is corrected immediately and its results are then made known orally in the exam room, with the possibility for each student to check the corrections received there. The oral exam is then open only to students who have passed the written exam. Students who aim only at confirming the grade obtained during the oral examination face a short interview concerning only the questions that are exactly answered in the written test. If no significant gaps emerge in this interview, the vote is confirmed; otherwise it has decreased, without prejudice to the possibility of rejection in the most serious cases. Students who, on the other hand, aim at increasing the grade obtained and / or obtaining honors during the oral exam, face a more in-depth interview on various topics among those included in the exam program. At the end of this interview, the vote is increased, confirmed or decreased, without prejudice to the possibility of rejection in the most serious cases. There are no intermediate tests.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final grade is given by the combination of the outcome of the written test and that of the oral test as clarified in the evaluation criteria.

Nei piani didattici di ciascun Corso di studio è previsto l’obbligo di conseguire un certo numero di crediti formativi mediante attività a scelta (chiamate anche "di tipologia D e F").
Oltre che in insegnamenti previsti nei piani didattici di altri corsi di studio e in certificazioni linguistiche o informatiche secondo quanto specificato nei regolamenti di ciascun corso, tali attività possono consistere anche in iniziative extracurriculari di contenuto vario, quali ad esempio la partecipazione a un seminario o a un ciclo di seminari, la frequenza di laboratori didattici, lo svolgimento di project work, stage aggiuntivo, eccetera.
Come per ogni altra attività a scelta, è necessario che anche queste non costituiscano un duplicato di conoscenze e competenze già acquisite dallo studente.
Quelle elencate in questa pagina sono le iniziative extracurriculari che sono state approvate dalla Commissione didattica e quindi consentono a chi vi partecipa l'acquisizione dei CFU specificati, alle condizioni riportate nelle pagine di dettaglio di ciascuna iniziativa.
Si ricorda in proposito che:
- tutte queste iniziative richiedono, per l'acquisizione dei relativi CFU, il superamento di una prova di verifica delle competenze acquisite, secondo le indicazioni contenute nella sezione "Modalità d'esame" della singola attività;
- lo studente è tenuto a inserire nel proprio piano degli studi l'attività prescelta e a iscriversi all'appello appositamente creato per la verbalizzazione, la cui data viene stabilita dal docente di riferimento e pubblicata nella sezione "Modalità d'esame" della singola attività.

ATTENZIONE: Per essere ammessi a sostenere una qualsiasi attività didattica, incluse quelle a scelta, è necessario essere iscritti all'anno di corso in cui essa viene offerta. Si raccomanda, pertanto, ai laureandi delle sessioni di dicembre e aprile di NON svolgere attività extracurriculari del nuovo anno accademico, cui loro non risultano iscritti, essendo tali sessioni di laurea con validità riferita all'anno accademico precedente. Quindi, per attività svolte in un anno accademico cui non si è iscritti, non si potrà dar luogo a riconoscimento di CFU.
