Didactic methods
The course includes both in-person lectures (30 hours) and pre-recorded online lectures available asynchronously (6 hours).
The in-person lectures will be supported by PowerPoint presentations and encourage active student participation through questions, group discussions, and sharing of perspectives.
Practical group exercises will also be organized using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method, where students have to solve real-world problems by applying the knowledge acquired.
Students will develop individual or group projects on topics proposed by the instructor, which will then be presented and discussed collectively in class.
The final evaluation will consider both active participation during lessons, the presentation of the in-depth project, and a final written exam.
Guest expert lectures will be included, involving discussion of highly topical issues.
The lectures will be held in English and Italian.
Learning assessment procedures
he exam will consist of a multiple choice written test in English.
For attending students, the exam is based on articles presented in class, group work in class, and a written test on only two of the topics covered in class.
For non-attending students, the learning assessment will consist of a single oral exam on all the articles in the bibliography, plus the slides presented in class.
Non-attending students are invited to consult the Moodle platform and contact the professor for any clarifications and to check for regulatory changes.
I have sought to convey the key information about the exam format, grading differences for attending vs non-attending students, and expectations clearly in English. Please let me know if you would like me to modify or expand this translation further.
