Learning objectives
The course aims to provide fundamental problem-solving knowledge through the design of algorithms and the programming of computing architectures. Students will acquire skills in programming fundamentals and the ability to formulate problems, develop solutions, and implement those solutions by writing programs in the Python language.
Examination Methods
The verification will be carried out through a computer test, which requires the development of a Python program.
Evaluation criteria
At the end of the course, the student will have to demonstrate: - To formulate an efficient solution algorithm given a computational problem in the medical or engineering field, and implement it in Python by organizing the related data structures. - To know how to use Python for data analysis, development of artificial intelligence and machine learning models, and design and simulation of models for mathematics and physics applied to medicine. - To have the necessary skills to continue their studies independently in the field of programming and development of medical software.
