The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Learning outcomes

Scopo del corso è di fornire strumenti algebrici per affrontare problemi applicativi di varia natura.
Cuore del corso è lo studio delle estensioni di campi e dei campi finiti. L'applicazione più rilevante che ne viene data è l'introduzione alla crittografia mediante curve ellittiche.
A tale scopo viene sviluppata anche la parte teorica sul piano proiettivo e le curve algebriche in generale.
Come introduzione al formalismo algebrico, il corso comincia con lo studio degli anelli e dei polinomi.
