Learning outcomes
The Victorian Age: private and public bodies. The course will analyse the adoption of scientific metaphors for the description and interpretations of private and public bodies in relevant novels of the 19th century. We will deal with the interrelations of science, aesthetics and literature and their discourse potentiality for the creation and legitimization of versions of identity matters, health, and beauty.
