Learning outcomes

This course aims to provide students with the necessary skills to conduct an analysis of specialized language in tourism and trade.

Program

The teacher will analyse various text forms in different fields – tourism, advertising, trade – with focus on persuasive techniques, specific vocabulary, and rethorical devices involved.

BIBLIOGRAPHY
Texts for the analysis will be provided by the instructor and collected in a booklet at the end of the course. In addition, a selection of topics from the following books will be discussed:
