Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the module is to introduce students to the analysis of some important aspects of Spanish linguistics. The focus will be on the following topics: diatopic variation in Spanish language (Spain and America); changes in Spanish orthography during the last centuries; orthographical ideas and proposals (Gonzalo Correas, Andrés Bello, José Martínez de Sousa, Gabriel García Márquez, etc.); recent linguistic reforms by Real Academia Española and Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española.
The course will be held in Spanish.
