Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide the technical tools to understand and critically reflect on the dynamics of applied ethics professional, with particular attention to the “professional training”.

Program

Syllabus
The ethics of professions according to positive thinking: Seligman, Csikszentmihalyi, Losada.
Basic concepts of ethics: Utilitarianism, Virtue, Relativism, Selfishness, Value.
Basic concepts of ethics of a professional: criteria, characteristics, responsibilities, skills, motivation, market, profit, litigation, competition.
The applied ethics of the trainer: design, motivation, dialogue, metacognition.
Analysis of the following defects: selfishness, pride, prejudice, hypocrisy, arrogance, indifference.
Analysis of the following virtues: courage, confidence, effort, generosity, reciprocity.
There are testimonies from the world of education, business, the sports world and the military world.
It is highly recommended to attend the laboratory for at least 80% of the total planned hours.

Examination Methods

The evaluation will consist of a short written or oral report on a theme you like in the lab.
