Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Educational objectives
The course will introduce the student into de most important moments of the latinamerican short stories of the XXth Century and into their culture of origin. To get this scope it will be necessary to provide narratological and translation knowledges to the students.

Exam methods
In the oral examination that will be in Spanish, the students will have to explain and translate some part of the literary texts and comment the critical articles. Also will be necessary to read and explain a novel of the XXth century.
