Learning outcomes
The course aims to introduce and discuss some of the main topics of political theory and institutional theory in the contemporary debate.
Program
The course aims to analyze some of the crucial topics to understand the issues and the complexity not only of the processes of transition from oppressive regimes that have marked the contemporary history of Europe in XX century, but also political and institutional theory: totalitarism, rule of law, crimes against humanity, human rights, political transition.
Prerequisite knowledge: History of Philosophy, Contemporary History
