Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
The course explores recent regulations of the development of the measurement and evaluation of performance in the public service. Specifically, the discussion examines the tools to support the modernization of local authorities.
The course provides students with cognitive tools based on regulatory elements, case studies and simulations.

The course will develop the following contents:
- The local authority: body and functions
- The performance cycle: the Legislative Decree no. 150/2009
- The performance Plan
- The measurement and evaluation of performance
- The different dimensions of performance
- Parameters and targets in the performance cycle
- The Performance Report
- The remuneration systems
- The public-private partnership
- Case studies
