Learning outcomes

The course aims at introducing students to the study of French Literature from the end of the XVIIth century to the middle of the XIXth century, by reading the great classics. This will allow to point out the actual critical readings, at a intersemiotic level, too, as well as the relationships between French literature and the ailleurs, America or,in particular during a visiting professor’s lessons, the Far East.
