Learning outcomes
The course aims to promote a first approach to the Portuguese language by studying the phonetic, morphological, syntactic and historical aspects of the Brazilian Portuguese language.
Program
Lecture notes with theory and exercises related to the subjects covered during the course. Further bibliographic material will be provided to students during lessons.

Examination Methods
Written examination (text comprehension and grammatical structures) and oral test (dialogue with the teacher and reading a text in Portuguese, with an analysis of its linguistic content and the autonomous formulation of short sentences in the language), in order to demonstrate the level of interaction and communication skills. The exam also consists of questions related to the historical introduction of Brazilian Portuguese, which took place during the lessons. In order to take the exam (written and oral) is required 80% minimum attendance of the course.
