Learning outcomes
Goals: The course aims at deepening students' competence in the classification and interpretation of linguistic characters, literary and non literary texts. Knowledge of classic studies on the subject and reflexions on methodology. Publication of historico-linguistic documents. Fieldwork.
Program
The course will be held in the first semester.
The course lasts 60 hours (12 CFU) or 30 hours (6 CFU).
Lectures with text-analysis. Online material. Fieldwork papers.
a- Historical grammar at the service of text analysis.
b- Historical grammar and oral text. Fieldwork about an ethnographic matter: gathering ethnotexts, with simplified transcription and dialectal and ethnolinguistic analysis.
