General and methodological nursing (2017/2018)
The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
The teaching focuses on the basic foundations of general and clinical nursing in relation to the concepts of care and taking care of the person and the family, the ethical principles that inspire and guide the practice of care. It is proposed to provide the conceptual, methodological bases for the identification of nursing care needs, the planning of interventions and the evaluation of outcomes. The teaching is aimed at getting the student to acquire the skills to proceed with the collection of data through the methods of observation, interview and objective examination, in the analysis and understanding of the events reported by the patients. It provides the methodological basis for the evaluation of problems or risks, also through the use of scales or tools to make decisions and propose prevention, treatment and monitoring interventions regarding the needs and problems of the person. This teaching is built on the knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
The contents are linked to the 2 and 3 year nursing modules, in particular to the medical and surgical clinical nursing and chronicity, to the aid relationship module in the care processes and to the deontology and regulation of the professional exercise. This course integrates with the Professional Med / 45 Laboratories scheduled for the 1st year of the course (Positioning and transfer techniques of the assisted person, detection of vital parameters, assessment and treatment of pressure injuries, body care)
