Learning outcomes

The Teaching of Professional Laboratories aims to provide students with technical, practical, relational, problem-solving and organizational skills in protected contexts, before trying in the services and directly on patients. All this also aims to reduce the emotional impact that comes from being in real situations and ensuring ethical and patient safety. For these reasons, professional laboratories are a prerequisite for the training activity.
The laboratory offers the opportunity for the student to train himself in applying the theoretical principles to clinical practice

Program

• use an evidence based practice approach by querying online databases, analyzing scientific articles and guidelines for taking and arguing clinical decisions.
• Making decisions for patient management with acute and chronic cirrhosis of the liver
• Apply first aid and mobilization techniques to people in critical situations
• Inform and educate students (peer tutoring) in different contexts
• Use communication techniques applied to clinical situations.
