MM: CARDIOLOGIA
------------------------
Objectives: To learn about the interactions of cardiovascular anatomy and function. Bases of cardiovascular pathology and the most commonly used cardiovascular active drugs. To be able to understand the most common cardiovascular diseases present on patients addressed to a rehabilitation program, and to be able to interpret cardiovascular diagnostic examinations. Expected bases: The student should be confident with the bases of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

MM: MALATTIE DELL'APPARATO RESPIRATORIO

The aim is to provide the student with fundamental knowledge regarding the main diseases and morbid conditions of the respiratory system that can be the subject of physiotherapy and rehabilitation or may interfere with it. At the end of the course the student must therefore be in possession of the essential knowledge for the recognition of the main morbid conditions of the respiratory system, and will need to know how to describe and understand the symptoms, the main diagnostic methods and the fundamental aspects of therapy, with particular regard to the rationale and methods of the intervention of rehabilitation and physiotherapy

MM: GASTROENTEROLOGIA
The student at the end of the course will be able to recognize: 1. the anatomy and physiology of motor functions relevant for the function of swallowing, the containment and the expulsion of the faeces. 2. the functional alterations of the digestive system, both primitive and secondary to traumatic diseases, and to neurological and neuromuscular diseases.

MM: MEDICINA INTERNA E TERAPIA MEDICA
The aim of course is to know the main deseases in field of internal medicine, the main techniques used in instrumental and laboratory diagnostics. Furthermore to illustrate the role of the physiotherapist in the management of the disease and rehabilitative interventions.

MM: MALATTIE VASCOLARI
Understanding the main vascular diseases related to the 3 main districts (arterial, venous and lymphatic) and the microcirculation. Describe the main vascular risk factors and their role in atherosclerotic diseases. Knowing the most frequent and relevant vascular pathologies. Get the ability to evaluate a patient with vascular disease using the main imaging techniques and laboratory use in vascular diagnostics. Define basics, roles, objectives of rehabilitative interventions.

MM: METODOLOGIA DELLA FISIOTERAPIA RESPIRATORIA E CARDIOVASCOLARE
Know the areas of intervention of respiratory and cardiovascular rehabilitation. Acquire theoretical and applied knowledge for clinical and functional evaluation of the patient with pulmonary and cardiovascular disease, for the setting and implementation of physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions.
