Learning outcomes
The course aims to explore skills of children accessing educational services, in according to law 107/2015.
We will also analyze the educational processes and practices that educators further in children and the training proposals offered to support parenting.
At the end of the educational path the student will have to:
- know children's skills, their fragility and their resources, growth steps that are experienced in childhood time;
- know organization, regulations, functioning of the main services for children and their educational aims;
- evaluate resources and critical issues of childhood services in relation to the characteristics and needs of children and their families;
- promote qualification of services through design, observation, documentation, evaluation;
Program
Services for early childhood are contexts in which educational care is the main pedagogical category, alongside the relationship and learning.
The focus will be on the work that educators of Nests and supplementary services perform with children and their parents, so as to strengthen their professionalism and contribute to an increasingly qualified educational proposal.
For this purpose the following topics are proposed:
children's needs and skills and educational care
the pedagogical project in childcare services
the competence of the educators and the tools to care the relationship: observation, active listening, documentation, evaluation
implicit needs of parents and relational skills.

Examination Methods
Evaluation aim to assess learning of the course contents, the use of bibliographic sources, the re-elaboration of the topics addressed and their impact in the professional contexts.
The assessment of the acquisitions will take place through a written test.
The test will be evaluated in thirtieths divided as follows:
10 points for the demonstration of learning and analytical skills,
10 for fairness and exposition accuracy;
10 points for the critical capacity, problematization and original reworking of the studied contents.
