Learning outcomes
The course aims at providing the students with a knowledge of the basic terminology and interpretive techniques at a post-elementary level. At the end of the course students will be able to comprehend and produce non technical texts in Chinese and will acquire listening, reading and writing skills to take the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) at a post-elementary level (level 2).
Program
Pre-requisite: A1 level (HSK Test level 1)
In-depth analysis of the Chinese phonetic, tonal and transcription system, notions and exercises related to the structure of the Chinese phrase, nominal and verbal determination, particles, locators, grade, resultant and directional complements. Exercises focused on the development of communicative skills and the achievement of a vocabulary of about 300 Chinese vocabulary.

Examination Methods
Minimum attendance: 80%
The final exam consists of a written test on grammar and reading comprehension and a conversation in Chinese.
Each part of the test has a thirty-points worth. Students must obtain at least 18/30 points in each part of the test in order to pass the exam.
All the parts of the exam must be passed in the same date: whoever wants or needs to repeat the exam must repeat all of its parts (written test and conversation).
The exam will focus on:
- Chapters 11 - 18 of Dialogare in Cinese;
- Chapters 1 - 12 of HSK Standard Course workbook (Level 2);
Additional teaching materials will be used and provided by the teachers during the lessons.
