Learning outcomes
This course aims to provide IV, V, VI year students a pathophysiological, diagnostic and therapeutic overview mainly of cystic and neuroendocrine pancreatic tumors. This "rare" group of neoplasms, in recent years, has seen a significant increase in incidence and their management is now the subject of a lively international debatement.
What are the diagnostic issues and indications for treatment? What are the challenges for the surgeon?
The course will be divided into theoretical seminars with the multidisciplinary participation of Surgeons, Radiologists and Pathologists and will include, if possible, collegial discussion about clinical cases.
