Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the acquisition of knowledge and skills aimed at drafting papers in Italian.
Program
Starting from the analysis of some basic narratology elements and some of the most significant ideas of literature, the course intends to start a reflection on the rudiments of the "craft of writing" and the specular "trade of reading". In-depth studies on metaletteratura, on the unreliable narrator and on the relationship between language are planned
and new technologies.
In the second part, the main textual types will be codified: the narrative text, the newspaper article (chronicle, review, interview, inquiry, etc.), digital writing, the short essay, the degree thesis.
During the course three laboratory exercises will be carried out.
Examination Methods
- the objectives: Acquisition of knowledge and skills aimed at writing documents in Italian.
- the contents of the test / s: the test focuses on the theoretical content of the lessons and on the implementation of the acquired writing skills, differentiated according to the types textual analyzes.
- the assessment procedure: written exam with open questions, to ascertain the theoretical knowledge acquired; practical writing exercise, through the development of one of the three proposed tracks.
- the evaluation methods: Approved / Not approved, without a vote of thirty. The test is considered passed only if the sufficiency is obtained in both sections that make up the written exam. The test administered is the same for attending and non-attending students.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and in accordance with the University of Verona guidelines, during the 2020 summer session the assessment modality will be modified as follows: online oral exam.
