Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will be able to: - describe the grammatical phenomena of the Russian language by using an adequate linguistic terminology, both in Italian and in Russian; - apply formal linguistic concepts to the different levels of analysis of the Russian language; - think critically on linguistic issues related to the acquisition and teaching of Russian as a Foreign Language.

Program

The program focuses on the Russian aspect and is divided into the the following segments:

1) Definition of aspect and actionality;
2) Slavic vs. Romance aspect;
3) Perfectivity vs. Imperfectivity;
4) Presentation of specific issues related to the Russian aspect.

Examination Methods

Written assessment, plus a possible oral exam. In case of coronavirus restrictions, there will only be an oral examination.
