Learning outcomes
Learning the theoretical basis of bibliotherapy;
To learn some elements of expressive reading aloud with a practical test in the classroom for each student;
To acquire the minimum skills to conduct a simple and uncomplicated bibliotherapy workshop with a healthy population.
Program
The following programme will be developed (online) through lectures, discussion with the trainees and role-playing (simulations):
- the history of Bibliotherapy;
- theoretical models and techniques of Bibliotherapy and shared reading;
- art storytelling for personal growth;
- novels and poetry as tools for bibliotherapy and shared reading;
- the Harry Potter books and the saga of the Iron Throne: how to use fantasy to understand reality;
- the practicalities of managing reading groups and non-complex personal growth (i.e. personal growth in healthy individuals); and
personal growth in healthy subjects);
- ethical and deontological implications.
