Learning outcomes
To gain knowledge in applying categorical data analysis and multivariate methods in economic research; to provide the necessary statistical background for analyzing data and drawing inference from that analysis; to increase the student's mastery of the deductive nature of reasoning; to understand the nature of critical thinking; to increase the student's ability in problem solving; to increase the student's ability to work with others towards a common goal.

Examination Methods
As part of the assessed coursework of “Quantitative Methods for International Markets”, students will have to complete an empirical group project at the end of the module. Participation to such group project will grant students the 1 CFU associated with the short module “An introduction to multivariate statistical analysis using R”.
