Learning outcomes
The aims of this course is to increase the knowledge of the surgery of the pancreas: the different surgical techniques applied in the clinical practices and the therapy of the different pancreatic diseases will be described.
The course will describe the surgical anatomy, the different surgical procedures and the basic principles of postoperative monitoring of the patients submitted to surgery of the pancreas.
The students will participate to clinical case discussion of patients with pancreatic diseases.

Pancreatic cystic tumors: diagnostic and therapeutic approach
Management of pancreatic endocrine tumors
Surgery of acute and chronic pancreatitis
