Learning outcomes
Basic knowledge of the technical exercise and teaching of the following athletics specialties: Sprint, Middle distance, Hurdles, Long jump, High jump, Shot put, Discus throw, javelin throw. Will be also introduced the main training methods referring to the same specialties.
Program
The course aims to introduce students to the specific performance model of each discipline considered; know the means, methods and aids necessary to develop an introductory didactic progression to individual athletic disciplines; know the most common mistakes and the exercises for their correction; know the set of motor skills conditioning performance taking into account the physical, psychic, technical and tactical characteristics of the individual.
Technical-didactic skills will be acquired necessary for the basic preparation of sports disciplines and to assume a behavior appropriate to the situation with the possibility of an ever higher performance.
The student must be able to identify and describe in detail the performance model of the specialties covered in the course and, by analyzing the competition situation, be able to define the performance model even for the specialties not covered.
In addition, attention will be paid to the introduction of specific techniques, highlighting the educational value and the corresponding didactic and application contents of the amateur and competitive fields.
