Learning objectives
This course intends to provide students with the competencies to analyze the context of public ser-vices in Italy, with a particular focus on public utilities. In addition, the course aims to develop in stu-dents critical understanding of the role of public vs. private actors in public service management. Moreover, the course will offer some managerial tools to improve service quality according to a cus-tomer-oriented approach. In order to encourage students’ learning ability, real-life case studies will be presented and discussed.

The concept of public service; local public services between regulation and competition 3. the production chains of the main services: gas, electricity, water services, environmental services, health (outline) 4. Didactic methods
lectures with frequent interventions by external witnesses. DIDACTIC DELIVERY METHOD Lessons will be held in the presence. The video recordings and any supplementary and support teaching materials will be made available to students who adhere to the PA 110 e lode protocol, moreover, as required by the University guidelines, to students who are in particular situations of fragility. , in conditions of disability or suffering from learning disabilities (following reporting and prior coordination with the Inclusion Unit) and to female students who are in situations of limitation to travel, on the basis of the provisions of national law enforcement to COVID
