It aims to have the student acquire the related professional skills in clinical settings where they can experience and recognize the theoretical aspects that emerge in clinical practice, researching the best evidence available in the literature to compare with a professional community of reference. At the end of the 2nd year, the student will acquire the following skills in the various areas: [PREVENTION]: apply independently under the supervision of the internship guide, the positioning, displacements and transfers of the patient, modulating the intervention in relation to the alterations of structure and/or function and/or activity and/or participation, choosing the most appropriate aids, respecting the principles of ergonomics and safety for the patient and the operator; apply the principles of hygiene with systematic procedure according to the principles of 'WHO to prevent the emergence of infections, during the activities required on patients in the training facility attended; recognize the risk of potential secondary injuries (e.g., from hypomobility, ...) and apply prevention strategies; [CARE AND REHABILITATION]. - apply the knowledge gained in the frontal lectures in planning the physical therapy process in various musculoskeletal and neurological disease conditions and specifically to: - identify the significant elements of the analysis of the patient's clinical history; - choose the most appropriate evaluation strategies, also instrumental, to detect the functional problems of the patient of physiotherapy interest and to hypothesize/identify the possible determinants; - build the hypothesis of causal relationships between the problems of interest physiotherapy detected (physiotherapy diagnosis); - define the objectives of the physiotherapy program, based on the predictive elements, patient expectations, available resources and setting; - choose indicators to monitor whether or not goals are being met; - identify and current the most appropriate physiotherapy strategies for achieving them, among those learned so far and in particular: - plan therapeutic exercise proposals consistent with what is planned, including using advanced instrumentation where available; -apply basic manual therapy techniques, verifying indications and contraindications; -apply physical therapies, with supervision; - identify any aids and orthoses, educate on their use, and evaluate their effectiveness; - integrate therapeutic education proposals into the process, aimed at the patient and any caregivers. THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION - to formulate the therapeutic education project for the person assisted with a musculoskeletal or neurological condition and their caregivers, identifying their educational needs and verifying the effectiveness of the intervention itself - plan physical reconditioning and health promotion programs through movement, particularly in chronic and/or degenerative conditions; [COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP ] - Demonstrate contextualized and diversified communication and interpersonal skills based on the various clinical areas attended; - implement a patient- and caregiver-centered approach so as to involve them in treatment decisions and empower them; [PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY] - to ensure their intervention within the limits of their experience and competence; to assume responsibility for the actions carried out in accordance with the rules of the various organizations - to collaborate with other health professions on the basis of knowledge of each other's competence profiles; [MANAGEMENT AND MANAGEMENT]. - complete the documentation related to the internship activity and deliver it on time, according to the indications agreed upon with the degree course; - discontinue services that prove to be unnecessary or ineffective over time; and TRAINING AND SELF-TRAINING - define with mentors and internship guides the best training opportunities; - contribute, guided by the internship-supervisor guide, to the modulation of one's training objectives and to the evaluation of their achievement; Demonstrate self-critical skills, recognizing one's own strengths and skills to be improved; - Take advantage of opportunities for self-directed learning; - Ask for and accept feedback, reflect on their own performance and self-evaluate. Check and integrate theoretical knowledge as needed; [EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE (EPB)]. - research and select available evidence through consultation of appropriate databases and use it for evaluation and planning of physical therapy treatment.
