Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with fundamental elements for the knowledge of human neuroanatomy, neuropathology and human cognitive functions in order to understand the main neurological pathologies with particular reference to the pathologies on the border between neurology and psychiatry. NEUROANATOMY MODULE Training objectives: Acquire sufficient knowledge of human neuroanatomy to be used in further studies and professional activity. NEUROPATHOLOGY AND NEUROLOGY MODULE Training objectives: Acquisition of knowledge on the main pathologies in neurology, with particular reference to the border pathology between neurology and psychiatry. Acquisition of knowledge on neurological semeiotics, with particular reference to the main cognitive pictures and the main neurological syndromes. Acquisition of elementary notions of neuropathology. MODULE GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY AND PSYCHOBIOLOGY Educational objectives: Neurobiological and neurophysiological correlates of human cognitive functions.
