Learning objectives

knowledge of the role of information technology in health facilities and its uses for descriptive and summary purposes, management, public health, surveillance and epidemiological evaluation. Learn how to use the Microsoft Office program, especially Excel for data analysis, Word for creating an Index/Summary and Mail Merge, PowerPoint for the summary presentation of data (tables and graphs), and research studies.

Prerequisites and basic notions

No prior knowledge is required.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam consists of two parts:
1. a multiple choice questionnaire (thirty questions, one point per question) to be done in person;
2. an exercise to be done remotely and to be delivered by email within the exam session.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The questionnaire has thirty questions, and each correct question is worth one point.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The grade is the average of the two parts (the questionnaire and the exercise) and both must have a minimum grade of 18/30.
