Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Program
The lessons will be articulated on historical-methodological themes and will concern concrete research cases: Cities in the final phase of the Middle Ages: stone, trade and development; Architectures and ways of building with stone; Fortifications and settlements between East and West: development of castles and models Production and trade in the late Middle Ages. Places of worship and burials during the Late Middle Ages
Didactic methods
The didactic activities consist of classroom lessons and practical activities which aim at the recognition and stratigraphic analysis of medieval architecture. The lessons are transmitted via videoconference in two (Trento and Verona) of the 4 classrooms of the associated universities and remotely for students attending remotely. The lessons are also recorded and made available to members. The exercises will be concentrated in a few days in such a way that external participation is also possible for students who do not attend lessons in Trento. In addition, the PowerPoints of the lessons are available to students, upon request from the teacher.
Learning assessment procedures
Oral exam on lecture notes, reference bibliography.
Evaluation criteria
The purpose of the test is to ascertain the ability to critically frame the topic and to know how to analyze and correctly recognize archaeological contexts and materials presented during the course.

Il doppio titolo è un programma integrato di studio attivato a seguito di una convenzione fra l’Ateneo di Ferrara e una Università straniera.Nell'ambito del corso di laurea magistrale in Quaternario, preistoria e archeologia è attivo un progetto di doppio titolo erogato in partnership con il Master “Mention Archéologie, sciences pour l’archéologie parcours Arts, Sociétés, Environnements de la Préhistoire et de la Protohistoire: Europe, Afrique” dell’Université de Toulouse Jean Jaurès (Francia)
