In the special part the attention will be focused on Law & Economics literature, trying to highlight features, potentialities and limits of this research project, oriented to interpret law with the tools of economic analysis.

The first part of the course will present Febbrajo's introductory text to the sociology of law, also developing an in-depth study on the legal profession in some Western countries.

During the exam (about 15 minutes) the student must show:
- understanding and knowledge;
- ability to make judgements;
- communicative qualities;

Evaluation criteria
In evaluating the student, his knowledge of the texts (which must be read and studied in all their parts) and his ability to reflect on the law starting from those theoretical perspectives will be taken into consideration.
