Learning objectives
The Professional Laboratory is a prerequisite to professional training and is designed to provide all students the minimum skills and equal for all locations are essential to deal with it. Since, moreover, the possibility to the student to experiment with quiet activities before being inserted in the employment context.They are carried out in small groups throughout the academic year (I - II semester), under the guidance of tutors.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Have passed the first year internship exam and be enrolled in the second year of the course
Program
Microbiology: Processing of urine and blood cultures. Transfusion: Determination of blood groups on slides, test tubes and microcolumns. Observation of agglutinates under the microscope. Anatomy pathology: Microtome cutting of tissue sections embedded in paraffin.
Bibliography
Didactic methods
The workshop is held in small groups in a protected setting. The student examines the various phases of the proposed technique through observation of the conductor/tutor and subsequently reproduces the test individually.
