Learning assessment procedures
The exam consists of one written test with multiple-choice questions.
The exam has duration of one hours.
No aid (text, drafts, ...) is allowed during test.
The course does not include intermediate tests.
Erasmus students can choose to take the test:
-in Italian, in written form with the same program and exam modality provided for Italian students
- in Italian, with an oral exam of 20/35 minutes on the same program provided for Italian students.
Erasmus students are invited to contact the teacher well in advance to agree on the exam modality.
Evaluation criteria
The exam is aimed at verifying, in addition to the acquisition of the required knowledges, that students have developed adequate awareness of the basic tools of computer science and some specific solutions adopted in the legal field.
In particular, the objective of the test is to evaluate:
- the depth and breadth of knowledge on the topics covered
- the possession of adequate basic computer terminology
- the ability to recognize the basic mechanisms of computer science
- the competence in adopting and using some specific computer solutions in the legal field
The evaluation is expressed in a grade out of thirty.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final mark refers to the written test, or to the oral test for Erasmus students who choose it, considered as a whole.
The evaluation will be based on the correctness and/or completeness of the answers. Each question will be associated with a score (reported in the exam text or, in the case of the oral exam, before the Erasmus student answers the question). The maximum score achievable is 33 points. To pass the exam, a minimum score of 18 points is required. In order to obtain the grade of excellence (30 cum laude) the student should provide correct and comprehensive answers for all the questions of the test.
