Learning objectives

In the laboratory activity students are offered the opportunity to learn technical and non-technical skills in a safe and controlled environment with the use of extracorporeal cicrculation simulator.

Prerequisites and basic notions

Knowledge of the extracorporeal circulation circuit, autonomy in priming of the circuit, conduction and management of the basic extracorporeal circulation in the main cardiac surgery interventions

Program

Management of accidents and emergencies in Extracorporeal Circulation with Orpheus simulator
