Learning Outcomes: to deepen, with theoretical and simulation modalities, advanced assessment techniques through anamnesis, physical examination and semeiotics, assessment scales with respect to neuro-motor, respiratory, cardiovascular functions, and cognitive and disability assessment. CLINICAL ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY Module: Learning Outcomes: to acquire the methodology to conduct patient assessment: history, physical examination and use of assessment tools. ASSESSMENT OF NEURO-MOTOR FUNCTIONS AND SEMEIOTICS Module: Learning Outcomes: to develop skills in the assessment and interpretation of major alterations regarding state of consciousness, impaired cranial nerve function, physiological and pathological reflexes, and disorders of sensitivity and motility. The students will also develop competences regarding the detection and interpretation of early indicators of stroke in community settings. CARDIO-VASCULAR ASSESSMENT AND SEMEIOTICS Module: Learning Outcomes: to develop skills in cardio-vascular assessment and interpretation of major alterations (murmurs, arteriopathy obliterans); differential assessment of cardiac pain and other clinical situations, understanding of common and advanced electrocardiographic alterations. To acquire basic knowledge of vascular ultrasound - point of care.
