Learning objectives
UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWING
- the functioning of devices for audiological investigations (oscillometers, audiometers, impedance detectors, devices for detecting acoustic otoemissions, devices for detecting electrical potential)
- the functioning of devices for vestibular investigations (electronystagmograph, videonystagmoscope and videonystagmometer, stabilometric platform, otocalometer)
- the functioning of devices for fitting cochlear implants and hearing aids (otoscan, aural hearing aid fitting system)
- the constituent elements of hearing aids (microphones, receivers, amplification and protection system, digital processor, connection tubes, earmolds, transducers)
- the elements that make up the bone implantable prostheses
- the elements that make up the cochlear implant
- the elements that make up the vestibular implant
Prerequisites and basic notions
have consolidated the fundamental concepts of audiology and audiological evaluation techniques

Explanations of the main instruments in the audiological field: - otoscope, silent booths, audiometer classifications, transducers, audiometer calibrations, impedance meter, impedance meter classifications, probes, teoae, Abr, electronic ear
