Learning objectives
The course is intended to provide the student with the knowledge of the legal institutions governing the prison system, aimed at implementing the individualisation of the sanctioning treatment in accordance with the principle of the re-educational purpose of punishment (Art. 27 paragraph 3 of the Constitution).
At the end of the course, the student will be able to analyse and eleborate on the basic notions and legal rules of the prison system and to apply them to actual cases; to use the appropriate and specific legal jargon; to adopt correct lines of reasoning and argumentation formulating autonomous judgements.
