Learning objectives
The course aims to provide knowledge and skills necessary to develop mobile and web apps using the REACT and REACT NATIVE frameworks.
Prerequisites and basic notions
To be able to easily use the course, knowledge of the JavaScript language is required. Knowledge of the React framework is also recommended, but not strictly necessary.
Program
- Introduction to React and React Native
- Creation of a first Web App with React
- Setup of the environment for deployment on Android/iOS devices
- Creation of a first Mobile App with React Native
- Interaction with a REST interface and application deployment
Didactic methods
The lessons will be held in collaboration with EDALAB srl (www.edalab.it), a company that develops remote monitoring and control systems based on IoT technologies, for which it frequently uses the REACT and REACT Native frameworks.

Learning assessment procedures
The exam will consist of the creation of a project, to be carried out in a group or individually, during which it will be necessary to apply what has been acquired during the lessons.
Evaluation criteria
- Adherence to the specifications
- Correctness of the solution
- Effectiveness of the solution
- Level of difficulty of the project
- Clarity of presentation of the report
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final grade will be out of thirty. Honors are expected in the case of an excellent project.
