Neuroradiology:
The course aims to provide the notions about Diagnostic Imaging in the Neuroradiological field, both of a morphological and functional type. Interventional applications will also be considered both in the cranio-encephalic and vertebro-medullary fields.
Prerequisites and basic notions
The prerequisite for better learning of the topics covered in the course is active class attendance and knowledge of the concepts of robotics and physics of radiological techniques.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
- Exam Methods and Evaluation Criteria
The course consists of two independent modules. The final exam grade is expressed in thirtieths and is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the grades achieved in the two modules, provided that the student obtains at least 18/30 in each module. In the first exam session, the grade for the module in which the student scores ≥ 18/30 is retained until the second exam session of the same session; in the second exam session, the student is required to retake only the module in which they failed. From the third exam session (and for the fourth exam session), the student must retake and pass both modules; the exam is recorded only if both modules score ≥ 18/30. If these conditions are not met, the exam is considered failed and is not recorded; any partial grades are not retained beyond the second exam session. The exam for each module consists of a written multiple-choice test. Questions may have different weightings depending on the relevance of the content; The maximum overall score is 30/30, and the passing threshold is 18/30.
- Awarding of honors Honors may be awarded only to students who achieve 30/30 in both written modules (multiple-choice tests). In such cases, the exam includes an additional written question for further study, proposed in one of the two modules; the answer to this question contributes to the overall assessment for the purposes of awarding honors. The final decision on whether or not to award honors is made jointly by the Professors of the two modules.
